| A stark contrast from the snowy, wind-swept images we've seen of 4014 on it's final days of running in 2019 - its hard to think it was only a little more than a month ago that the massive 4-8-8-4 was skirting along desert landscapes across California and Arizona like that pictured here as the locomotive approaches Palm Springs on the first day of its eastbound journey home. |
