Remarks & Notes
0-4-2 saddle tank steamlocomotives # 3 "SIR HAYDN" taking water in Dolgoch. Locomotive # 3 was built in 1878 by Hughes’ Loco & Tramway Eng. Works Ltd of Loughborough for the Corris Railway as 0-4-0 ST and in 1900 it was fitted with a trailing pony truck, converting it into an 0-4-2 ST. It came to the Talyllyn in 1951. Overhauled in the workshop of the Vale of Rheidol Railway in Aberystwyth, and running like new since 2018.
