Remarks & Notes |
A major snowstorm has blanketed Montreal but this does not slow down this 2400 H.P. Trainmaster as it switches the interchange tracks of the National Harbours Board Railway in the Port of Montreal. CP's FM-CLC Trainmasters were mostly assigned to the West. However, there was always at least one in Montreal to handle the transfers between St. Luc and Hochelaga Yards. There was a steep grade from Hochelaga up past the Angus Shops to Outremont Yard. The TM's were well suited for this as power and not speed was needed. |
