Four Pittsburg & Shawmut SW9’s bring a long train of empties to the loader at Dora, Pennsylvania. The 50-ton hoppers in this train were outlawed from interchange, either due to age, friction-bearing trucks, or both. The coal would be loaded at Dora, and then taken by the Brookville turn to its turning point at Mahoning. A crew from Kittanning would then take the coal to its unloading point, which I have to think was a barge loading facility on the Allegheny River.
