| Between Ethel and Marceline the BNSF's Transcon main skits thru some hilly remote parts on north-central Missouri. Here we have one of the monster stack trains that BNSF runs out of LPC coasting downgrade near the old station called Hart. The train is DP-d setup in a 2x2x2. BNSF left a few old Santa Fe signal bridges in place after their 1st round of PTC upgrades in 2012-13. Now in late 2019 the BNSF gangs went thru again and all the signal bridges have been removed from service and new signal installed next/near them. For whatever reason this one, the only one, hangs on for one more new year. Although this one has seen some upgrades from the Santa Fe days too. |
