| UP 8961 has finally got its feet dry on solid land at Lakeside, Utah. The past 32 miles from Little Mountain have been “at sea” crossing the Great Salt Lake. Except for 3 miles of dry land at Promontory Point the entire distance is either over salt water or mud as seen here. This is a solid unit train of ethanol headed west. |
