The "Daygo," BNSF Railway's freight to San Diego, California, passes through Summit on Cajon Pass on a snowy December 27, 2019. Officially a High Priority Merchandise train, the H-BARSDG8-26 travels between Barstow and San Diego. Today’s train is pulled by BNSF ES44DC 7731, ES44DC 7766, ET44C4 3752 and GP60 197, with ES44DC 7762 as the rear DPU. The GP60, formerly BNSF 8739 and originally ATSF 4039, is being ferried back to San Diego after having some maintenance done at the railway's Barstow Shops.
