On the last day of 2019, Metrolink train 687 departs the station in Orange, California, and navigates through CP Maple (where the Olive Sub splits from the Orange Sub) as it heads from Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo to Los Angeles. Being New Year's Eve, there were not many passengers boarding in Orange – and the number of passengers on boards was lower than usual, too.
