On display at the 75th Anniversary Open House at General Motors Electro-Motive Division’s plant in Illinois is Janesville & Southern (a fictional railroad) 52, a BL-2. Built by EMD in March 1942 as Bangor & Aroostook 552 (later BAR 52, then Wisconsin & Calumet 52). BL-2s were perhaps EMD’s most distinctive locomotive, as there was nothing else that looked anything like it from any other locomotive builders. (McCook, Illinois – September 21, 1997)
An assortment of photos of the distinctly unique (and 'cute') little locomotive EMD ever built, the BL2! I understand it also makes a tasty sandwich..Oh, that's a BLT! (When a new BL2 photo is "ordered", it will be served fresh!)
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
