After meeting southbound CSX K445-09, the empty K402-12 receives the medium clear signal, and is underway rolling into the late evening sun, making the northern turn out of the farming community of Stevenson, AL (MP J-112.4 Stevenson). Stevenson is one of those location where by the timetable would have been consider north of Chattanooga, but geographically we're south of the State of Tennessee.
