Southwestern Portland Cement SDP35 411 sits at CEMEX's Victorville Cement Plant. This is one of three surviving SDP35s, having been built as Seaboard Air Line 1111. I'm not sure if this unit is still being used, or if it's even seen service in the recent past as the latest photo I can find of it in service was from 2004. With the arrival of a new Knoxville Locomotive Works unit, there have been rumors that this oddball would be scrapped, as the KLW was acquired through a grant which required that an existing locomotive be disabled. The only engine unaccounted for between their facility and mine train on this afternoon was SD40-2 415, so I suspect that may be what was chosen instead.
