Are you missing the green and cream already? SFMTA | San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency/Market Street Railway 1055 is in fact ex-SEPTA 2122. This car is painted in a nearly identical paint scheme to the PCC-IIs, recently withdrawn from service on Philadelphia’s Route 15. This car is one of 14 that came to San Francisco from Philly to initiate service on the F/Market Street Line, and continues to service today, seen on the night of April 2, 2012.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
