Remarks & Notes |
On this day, the former Südostbahn locomotives Re 446 # 015 (in publicity paint scheme for the NEAT exhibition in the Swiss Museum of Transport Lucerne) and # 017 (in publicity paint scheme Voralpen Express "Ein Hauch Fernweh..") were handed over to the new owner, the Eisenbahndienstleister Gmbh (EDG). The locomotives are on a approval run from Samstagern to Biberbrugg and back, on the 5.0 % grade between Samstagern and Schindellegi-Feusisberg. This 4960 kW locomotives were built in 1982 by SLM and BBC for the SBB as Re 4/4 IV # 10101 and # 10103, and came to the Südostbahn in 1994/1996. The four Re 446 are not needed any more by the Südostbahn since the change of the Voralpen-Express from push-pull trains to the new TRAVERSO trains from StadlerRail. |
