Remarks & Notes |
CTrail 6401 passes the former location of Newington Junction. This is where the New Haven Railroad (originally the Hartford, Providence, & Fishkill Railroad) split off to New Britain. The 1890 freight depot is seen on the right. The passenger station, which stood across from the depot, was moved and restored a few hundred feet from its original location when the CTfastrak busway system was built. |
