Remarks & Notes
With a pair of SDP40Fs on the point, Amtrak's southbound Coast Starlight departs Seattle's King Street Station on its 1388-mile journey to Los Angeles. The building behind the rear of the train is Seattle Union Station, formerly used by the Union Pacific and Milwaukee Road but vacant when this photo was taken.
