On March 1, 2020, a cut-off low created a storm that dropped snow on southern California’s San Gabriel Mountains. On March 2, 2020, the freshly snow-covered San Gabriels providing a nice backdrop as Metrolink train 641 passes through Chapman University in the city of Orange, California as it heads from Oceanside to Fullerton. This train has cab car 671 up front, and F125 928 shoving on the rear. Chapman University has been repurposing a lot of old industrial buildings in Orange as it expands, including a rope factory, a warehouse and, to the right of this train, an old Sunkist packing house.
