Last week a truly significant event took place in Russia. First time in a long time, an organized group of railfans all over the world (including some RPN authors) came to see our steam routes and locomotives! Here you can see a little movie about that photo tour... First, foreign tourists have run around and photographed the «Ruskeal Express» in the most picturesque locations of Karelia republic. After that railfans had a trip on a specially organized train under steam from Bologoe to Ostashkov and back. It is incredibly cool that we had such event in Russia, in spite of sanctions and other political crap! A common passion for what you love destructs boundaries and unites the world! I hope that this is only the first sign and such photo tours for foreigners will become regular! Peace to all! Welcome to Russia!
