It looked promising; lots of blue sky and only a few clouds. The lighting was perfect as the train crossed the vertical lift bridge, seen in the background. The one, single cloud on the horizon slowly made it's way over the sun just in time for the train to come. Perfect. The train is MC-2, the northbound loaded Energy Train, and the leader is LTEX 3011 (ex-MEC, nee-PC GP40). The location is Cohasset Narrows in Wareham, MA on Mass Coastal's Cape Main Line.
