CSX intermodal train Q158 speeds through Conneaut, Ohio on a winter morning, passing by the former NYC freight house and an LSMS Depot that now hosts a small display of railroad equipment. A semaphore signal, caboose, and Bessemer hopper sit along with Nickel Plate #755, a Lima built 2-8-4 Berkshire. This locomotive is said to be a "zero mile loco" having been overhauled in 1958 but not returning to service afterwards with the end of steam. In it's time sitting on display, it has served as the occasional parts sourceĀ for the operatingĀ 765 and was cosmetically restored by the FWRHS as a gesture of thanks.
