A very unique view is a Re 6/6 locomotive, pulling a passenger train! Decades ago, this was daily business on the Gotthard line, but since january 2003 this six axle 10600 HP "powerhouses" are strictly in the freight service. For a charter train of the Federal Office of Transport (FOT/BAV) from Bellinzona to Olten, the Re 6/6 # 11663 with the blazon of Eglisau (missing on this side, it was stolen some years ago, sadly) was ordered. The train had 6 first class Apm61 cars and a "Salon deluxe" parlor car in the middle. Here we can see this rather special composition in Rynächt near Erstfeld, after the train ran through the Gotthard Base Tunnel (GBT), which portal we can see in the background.
