| A pair of helpers shove an eastbound up the grade through RG interlocking - once the site of RG block station (tower). The eastward grade is fairly steep here and the undulating territory plus volume of traffic in this area was reason the water level Conemaugh Line was used by much of the tonnage that didn't utilize Pitcairn yard. For most of the Conrail years the main line here was the primary route for traffic, however. |
