The Last Time. The last crew to make up the popular Reno Fun Train takes a moment on a fittingly, gloomy morning in Sparks, Nevada to pose for a group photo in front of the train's lead locomotive prior to readying the train for its final westbound trip home to Oakland. Made up of combined employees from Key Holidays and Amtrak, the Reno Fun Train staff pictured here provided exceptional service for those looking for a fun get-away to the Biggest Little City in The World via one of the most picturesque routes a passenger train can travel across in North America - Donner Pass. Despite Union Pacific's rule to not have the famous Fun Train bear ride on the train's lead locomotive knuckle anymore...the bear was placed in his proper position for this photo. One last time. |
