One of the more bizarre rail incidents I can recall in recent memory occurred in San Pedro yesterday when the PHL daytime Yang Ming Switcher engineer decided to intentionally ram his unit through the end of track at the West Basin Container Terminal. The engine actually traveled quite a distance, ending up on the other side of the Vincent Thomas Bridge. PHL 21 was the "victim" that was power on the YPYG10 when this occurred.
