| DFB 7077 hauls Northern Explorer across South Rangitikei Viaduct 75 metres (246 ft) above Rangitikei River. The train will soon cross the river a third time on a 77 metre high bridge. The 420 mile trip between the capital, Wellington, and Auckland takes around 11 hours but currently this train is cancelled indefinitely along with all other passenger trains. |
