| 7023 and 7049 head train 126 across bridge 150 near Taipuha in the back country between Waiotira and Maungaturoto. This train has just been indefinitely cancelled and there are now no trains in daylight running on the rustic line through rugged hill country to Whangarei. The DF class were built by EMD Canada and entered service in 1979. |
