| EF 30059 leads 30203 and DL 9020 on a northbound train from Palmerston North climbing away from the Rangitikei River. The section of line between Hamilton and Palmerston North was electrified at 25KV in the 1980's with the locomotives (the most powerful on KiwiRail network) built by Brush, UK. The DL class was built by CNR Dalian, China from 2010. |
