Remarks & Notes |
After crossing Tecolote Creek, Amtrak's Southwest Chief splits a pair of classic semaphore signals in the desolate high-deserts of Northeastern New Mexico. These intermediate signals at mile post 786.2 are some of the more remote signals along the old Santa Fe Mainline. The lack of modern development along with the semaphores and old code line show how time stands still in this part of America. |
