Katy modified only six of its original fifteen RS-3's 142, 143,146 and 152, 153 and 154 with dependable 1500 HP sixteen cylinder 567C engines in 1960. The most noticeable change was the replacement of their long hoods with EMD GP-9 style hoods. From my collection, Photographer Mike Bledsoe.
