Remarks & Notes
Right place, right time. As Norfolk Southern Corp 66X (7216 SD80MAC) approaches the Newark, Delaware station, Amtrak Regional Train 88 (623 ACS-64) passes at an even higher speed on Saturday, 4/15/2017. This stretch of the Northeast Corridor Line sees several daily freight trains, but the SD80MACs have since been retired.

Amtrak's Northeast Corridor cuts across the northern end of Delaware. Go to the cafe car for a coffee and you might miss it. The state may be small but among Acelas, regional trains and long distance there is plenty of action.
