After tons of delays, I was about out of options for this Galesburg to Lincoln freight train. This guy waited for almost 2 hours for 3 eastbound trains at Ottumwa due to a combo coal train in 2 pieces east of Maxon tying up one of the mains. Then for good measures the last eastbound left a track circuit on in the crossovers at the IC&E RR Xing. With 2 boys needed to be in bed at a good time, we made a mad dash to get this guy in Ottumwa as we headed home. Here the train is finally on the move out of Ottumwa after lining switches at the IC&E. The train is carrying a hefty 10 unit consist. Hardly the nice shot we had setup west of town, but whatever its stupid railroading like usual.
The train has 10 units and has 79 loads, 69 empties, 11,657 tons, and 8289 feet with BNSF's 5505, 7638, 7620, 4683, 4656, 4696, 4637, 4985, 5495, 4642.
