Just hanging out. Amtrak 931 (Phase V, AEM7) is one of many units sitting in Bear, DE on June 20, 2016. A long line of retired AEM7s and HHP8s was resident here for a time. But since then, in 2019, 15 AEM-7 AC rebuilt models were moved to Rhode Island. Some of the remaining units have been donated, sold, or scrapped. If you want to see an Amtrak AEM-7 today, 915 lives at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania, while 945 is in the collection at the Illinois Railway Museum.
