| An area of Mechanicville not often photographed is the portion of track that parallels South Main St. from Riverside Park North to Underwood Ave aka the east-side where the tracks rise then veer into the heart of the city and further to the yard.
Canadian Pacific 2257 and it's two sister units CP 2229 & 2209 pull the D45 into the city & up the grade rolling over one the better looking and maintained D&H bridges in the area, though it does have a steel barricade across it due to the low height. |
