There was a lot of power on BNSF Priority UPS-LTL Intermodal train Z-CHCDEN9-10 as it departed McCook, Nebraska, on August 11, 2015. Along with the usual power (BNSF ES44C4s 8039 and 6956, plus ES44DC 7283 and Dash 9-44CW 4659) is a quartet of General Electric demonstrator ET44ACs (GECX 2040, 2042, 2041 and 2043). The GECX units were being transferred to the BNSF’s Pikes Peak Sub in Colorado for coal service, and would later be sold to Canadian National as CN 3129-3132.
