Renfe Class 334.022 with the International Sud Express train from Lisboa Santa Apolónia to Hendaye (with TGV connection to Paris Montparnasse) at Vilar Formoso, the last Portuguese station before it enters in Spanish territory. In 2010 this train started to be done with talgo cars. However, few weeks after, due to a volcano eruption in Iceland, the air traffic connections with north of Europe was suspended. Because of that, CP re started this train operation again with these cars while it lasted the eruption, due to a major transport capacity of these conventional cars, and it did even reinforce the operation with a several special trains.
