The 1 meter gauge locomotives of the Ferrocarril de Antofagasta a Bolivia (FCAB) has a very pleasant paint scheme, looking great in the wide landscape. The GL26C # 2011 was built in 1972 by Clyde/Australia as QGR (Queensland Governement Railway) # 2119. Rebuilt for DOO = Driver Only Operation, this QGR modification resulted in a lower nose, with 3 front windscreen (asymmetrical). Shipped from Brisbane to Antofagasta in september 2001. Webtec Q-Tron microprocessor control built in.
Maestranza removed Clyde builders plates from all units. Second locomotive is GR12U # 1425, former NF210 # 941 of the Canadian National Railway built by EMD in 1960, which came in 1994 to the FCAB from the FCP in Nicaragua.
