| "Powered By Our People"...On A Different Railroad. Still less than half way into its trip from Las Vegas, NV to San Luis Obispo, CA, UP 1111 and its business car train find themselves on the BNSF Cajon Subdivision as they crest the flyover at Frost before dropping down and the run to the summit of Cajon Pass. The crew operating the train was in for a treat at West Colton when the dispatcher informed them they would be taking the train all the way to LATC rather than receiving a fresh crew...rumored because the West Colton crew had just been furloughed. |
