"Meet at the Container Terminal"
New York Container Terminal Rail's PL1500-4RS locomotive sits on the stub track at the Howland Hook Marine Terminal as the Morristown & Erie Railway's EMD MP15DC #2354 pulls a cut of stacks towards Arlington yard in Staten Island. The M&E 2354 has been on loan while the Container Terminal's locomotive received some needed prime mover repairs at the M&E's shop. After passing testing, the MP15 will be returned. CLCX #2058 is a PL1500-4RS built by Process Locomtives from a former Toledo, Peoria and Western Railway GP20 and features a Tier 3, 1560HP CAT Engine. This locomotive was purchased by NYCT Express Rail years ago to replace a leased GMTX GP38-2. |
