Remarks & Notes |
BNSF 6935 follows the Price River as it ascends towards Soldier Summit on a cold winter afternoon. The 75-car train will soon top out at over 7,400' before beginning its descent towards Provo. With an overall decline in coal, train traffic over the infamous Soldier Summit has drastically declined. While the route is still owned by the Union Pacific, BNSF appears to utilize this route as much as the home railroad. |
