Going back to a time where NS Dash 8 locomotives still roamed and the Lafayette District was a hopping place....as now the NS is a shell of what it once was when it comes to motive power. Dash 8s, SD60/I/Ms, SD80MACs, SD70Ms, and more all have been purged from the roster. Near Tolono, the 146 is being overrun by a severe thunderstorm as it creeps to the diamond to meet Amtrak.
