| Working upgrade through the Mormon Rocks, BNSF 4228 brings up the rear of the eastbound Christmas Train as it climbs toward the summit of Cajon Pass. After cresting the 3,777 foot summit, the train will drift downgrade through the desert communities of Hesperia and Victorville before passing through the rather flat desert landscape for the final leg to Barstow. |
