BNSF Railway train V-PEASDG4-12 (Vehicles, Pearland TX to San Diego CA) rolls through Rose Canyon, having just conquered the steepest grade (2.2%) on the Los Angeles to San Diego line – Miramar Hill – and is now descending to downtown San Diego, which is nearly sea level. BNSF Dash 9-44CW 4174, ES44AC 6218 and Dash 9-44CW 5133 are pulling 80 empty autoracks, which will be loaded with new Hondas at the Port of San Diego. (San Diego – May 16, 2020)
