To celebrate the 20th anniversary of PTG tours, in collaboration with ALSA RAIL, a hundred Britons went to Spain to visit two of the most beautiful lines in the country. In charge of the historic train, the ALCO 2148 of the old RENFE 2100 series, coming from the ALCo DL-500 model, restored by Alsa. In the photograph, the train stay prepared to depart in a cold morning at teruel station with the first lights of day.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
