Super Duty Forty Dash Two
It was a rather cool November morning around Norfolk Southern's Debutts Classification Yard, as rail traffic was a little slow, but their was plenty of Yard going deep into the bowl. NS AC05 "Trim Job" is pulling a long block of cars out of the bowl up the switching lead, a vital practice as block of cars are being built into trains after the humping process. We get a rare glimpse of the power that was used to day on the "trim job," NS NÂș 6204, and yard slug 865 is assigned to the bowl as heavy duty muscle. Normally this pair is assigned to the hump job, and is staged at the receiving yard, but I guess they we're need on hand, a rather different sight than the Geep/Slug Mate that rule the bowl.
Pace and pan shots of trains from on the ground or in the air. If you're not in the locomotive cab or on-board the train, it's the next best thing to being there.
