| UP potash loads handed off from CP kick up the dust at Scribner working up the grade through Marshall Canyon. The original UP/Milwaukee route through the Canyon is visible to the east as a bike path and was torn up in favour of trackage rights on BNSF's former SP&S mainline from Spokane to UP Jct. Just south of here the train will branch off onto UP's Ayer (Washy) Sub. towards Pasco and the BNSF rails will return to the original NP mainline. |
