| Highspeed train "Giruno" of the SBB, RABe 501 # 014, is entering the 57 kilometer long Gotthard Base Tunnel (GBT) in a few seconds, running at 160 km/h and accelerating to track speed of 200 km/h a bit later. The train is running the IC 675 of the line IC 21 from Basel via Lucerne-Bellinzona to Lugano. 30 minutes from now only the train will be in Bellinzona. |
