In preparation for the new “Reign of the Redbirds” exhibit at the New York Transit Museum at Court Street in Brookly, NY, the MTA NYC Transit Subway repainted R-33S 9310 in its "Redbird" paint scheme. This car is one of forty single units that were delivered in Robin's Egg blue for the 1964 Worlds' Fair, but in later years its class was repainted at various times in white, silver and blue, and ultimately red, and became synonymous with the Flushing Line for all of that time until being retired in 2003.
