Punching out of the Core
After punching the core in Longmont, CO of a severe warned thunderstorm, a southbound sand train with BNSF 7907 leading is along the Diagonal Highway emerging into the last sun of the day under a characteristically beautiful beaver tail cloud formation often found on HPC (high precipitation) spinning super cells. A rare and beautiful opportunity I am grateful for being able to be there to capture it with a clean BNSF train. |
