| Another Friday chase of the evening local out of Cedar Rapids. The 567 again got enough traffic over the week to warrant the 5459 for a 2nd motor. Traffic has stayed steady in this area unlike some of the fall off in other areas. The local makes a Manchester turn out of Cedar Rapids at 17:00 Monday thru Friday, and as needed on weekends. Today's train is a dinky 7 cars as they depart Cedar Rapids. From the air one can see the swampy area these yards were built in long ago. Trails are busy today with people out enjoying the summer actives. |
