| In what has been a memorable week for the D45/D48 local power, a rare blue face from northern Maine makes its inaugural run up the former D&H Colonie Sub as former CMQ 9023 leads the morning CP Saratoga/Kenwood local on a warm June morning. The highly unusual sight is due to an occasional borrowed power set from the previous days #252 road power when heavy tonnage permits at Kenwood Yard. All the stars and planets aligned today for this former CP cowl unit to do the honors in CMQ paint out of Albany to the delight of the gathered lucky fans in the Capital Region. |
