| Soo Line SW9s 2118 and 2117 with a transfer from the BN passing under Garfield Ave in Duluth MN June 1979. The 2118 has yet to be painted into the "Duluth" scheme, that won't happen until the fall of 1979. The 2117 is currently one of the switchers used at the CHS Elevator in Superior. End cab switchers were tried from time to time in the Twin Ports on the Soo Line but never stuck around too long. Soo Line crews preferred 4 axle EMD road units in the Twin Ports.
